Get TOP 10 tables in SAPThis question is Assumed Answered.

    Hi,

Can anybody tell me how can I list TOP 10 tables in SAP?

When I look in DB02 for table sizes, it does not show the history of all tables at once, I have to

choose the tablespace and the table each time.

    Thanks,

    Nishikant

    HI Nishikant

Do the following to get the TOP 10 Table in one go.

Step 1:- Tcode DB02 then goto menu goto --> table & indices --> Table & Indices

It will prompt New window Memory Mgmt for table and indices.

Step 2:- Put * in Object Name, Tablespace and object type .

Step 3:- Click on Right Tick button Wait for some time it will display the all tables.

Step 4: -Then sort on table size you will get the top 10 table.

    Best luck,

    Atil

    Hello ,

    The above was for Oracle.

    For Db2 do the following:-

USe Tcode DB02 and click on Table & Indices .. It will open another window put * in Table and

tablespace it will give you list and then sort on size to get top 10 table.

    Best Luck,

    Atil

Re: Get TOP 10 tables in SAP

    Thanks Atil,

I did checked your suggestion, but what I get is the list something like this -

    Created

    Table by Database Tablespace

    #ACCESSVALJKG SAPR3 A021XISW LSWFDRYH

    #ACTIONTEXTAY9 SAPR3 A030X99S LRMPS0I1

    #APPLICATIONTV8 SAPR3 A101XQ0N LSTRXYK2

It does not show me the size of the tables anywhere, I have go in to each table and then it

    will show me the size.

Is there any other way to check this?

    Thanks,

    Nishikant

Re: Get TOP 10 tables in SAP

    Hi Guys,

In my case I searched for all the tablespaces & find out the larger tablespaces.

Then I went through individual tablespaces and got the details of the table.

I don't think there is any other way to get the list of TOP 10 table in DB2 database.

    Thanks,

    Nishikant
