am Kristen, the owner, founder and photographer behind Gingersnap Photography. Gingersnap Photography was born out of a mother’s love. Once I had my first “ginger” in 2009 I knew I had to capture every moment of his precious life. I have always loved photography and have been a“hobbiest” photographer for over a decade (even going back to the days of dark rooms). to the days of dark rooms). After spending several years in the classroom, as a teacher, I knew I wanted to pursuephotography as a full time profession. So I researched, took classes/workshops and devoted hours and hours into learning every aspect of the photography business and in 2013 officially opened Gingersnap Photography. WHAT TO EXPECT

Before the Session

After the Session

Once I’ve received your deposit payment, we’ll start planning your session. I’ll call or e-mail you to go over

the details of your packet. I’ll keep an eye on the weather forecast and contact you (the day of or day

before your session) if we feel the session may need to be moved earlier or later in the day or re-scheduled.

We will then meet for your photography session, have loads of fun and capture great images. Additional fees

may be incurred in the event a client re-schedules.

Approximately a week after your session I will contact you with a link to preview your images online. Final

images and/or products will be ready for delivery approximately three weeks after your session. I like to deliver

all of my products in person. We will arrange a conveinent time and location for you to receive your nal

high resolution custom images and/or custom products. I’ ll post my favorites to my blog & Facebook page.

SESSION TIPS

What to Wear

Just Have Fun

Good choices in clothing is one of the key elements of a great photo session! For group sessions,

clothing should be coordinated. Clothing should be simple and timeless. Favorites are jeans, khaki

colored pants, solid or neutral colored shirts, sundresses, gowns, hats and bare feet. Use clothing with large,

busy prints, checkered patterns & geometric designs sparingly. I’ll be checking in with you to

chat about clothing choices. It’s a great idea to plan the outts two weeks before the session. Lay them out,

step back and take a look. Once you’re happy with your choices, make sure they are clean and wrinkle-free,

then sethen set them aside for your session. Don’t forget about shoes and the most overlooked item

... the socks! Yes, the socks are important...(the color). This will lower your stress level on session day!

Clients are encouraged to include their own props. Examples are: A musical instrument, sports equipment,

a book and reading glasses or a family pet.

Please feel at ease at your session. If pressured

to “smile”, natural expressions may be lost.

Many of the great images we capture are the

“in-between” shots, when the subject relaxes &

smiles.

Photo sessions are work for both subject and

photophotographer but we’ve got tricks that make it

fun & easy so don’t worry and don’t try too hard!
