Principles of the CUP Mission Statement

Provide an environment in CUP that produces the best players in Ohio South, Region II, and the Nation

Players will be developed to compete at the highest levels of high school and college soccer

CUP is managed and coached by professionals who will provide the necessary level of coaching and programming relative to the aspiring elite performer

Training Format & Frequency

Training Frequency 3 nights per week

Timeline 11 – 14’s Begin in August, 15 – 18’s Oct / November Winter training opportunities are provided Concludes in late May/early June

Policy Regarding Participation in Other Sports Commitment level standard across the girl’s program Most players at these ages participate in other sports, particularly in

the winter and summer months Most teams at this age expect players to prioritize soccer during the

fall and spring seasons

Premier Program Fees

What services are included in the Premier Program fee that are not included in the CU Program fee? Full time professional coaching and training Full time professional management Program specific goalkeeper training Training sessions with Columbus Crew coaches and

players $1213 + Tournaments Expenses; Referee Fees;

Uniforms (non-refundable) Note – All player fees are based on a minimum roster of 18 players.

Volunteer Commitments

Each team family will be required to volunteer for 8 hours per year. Volunteer hours can be met in a number of ways (ie. – tournaments, registration, field clean-up, etc)

A volunteer is needed to act as a Parent Administrator

Proven SuccessesOverview – Player Development Recognized as one of the top #21 clubs in the

country and #2 in OSYSA (one point behind the OP Eagles), and #1 in the greater Cincinnati area based on development criteria http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/club-soccer/club-soccer-rankings/women

Since 2003, CUP has developed 155 female players to play collegiately, which is more than any other club in the greater Cincinnati area.

In the 2008/09 season, CU placed 15 players on to the ODP Region II Teams, more than any club in the greater Cincinnati area.

In the 2008/09 season, CU placed 58 players on to the Ohio South (OSYSA) ODP State Teams, more than any other club in the greater Cincinnati area.

In the 2008/09 season, CU placed more teams in the 2009 Ohio South (OSYSA) State Cup finals, Semifinals, and Quarterfinals than any other soccer club in Ohio South (OSYSA).
