Stakeholders, scope creep, no formal training, and a lack of process all combine to raise the probability of project failure, costing organizations time, money, and employee morale. Project management isn’t just about managing logistics, but requires employing skills of “informal authority” so team members are inspired to contribute to project success! This work session provides participants with the mind-set, skill set, and toolset, focusing on a disciplined process to execute projects and to master informal authority, in order to consistently deliver successful projects to completion. DELIVERY TYPE Virtual instructor-led training (VILT) DURATION One-day: Three 90-minute sessions with an hour break in between each session AUDIENCE All Employees TRAINING UNITS Five PDU’s PREREQUISITES None OBJECTIVES By the end of this course, you should be able to: Implement Four Foundational Behaviors that inspire team members to execute with excellence. Establish clear and measurable project outcomes. Create a well-defined project scope statement. Identify, assess, and manage project risks. Create a realistic and well-defined project schedule. Hold team members accountable to project plans. Create a clear communication plan around their project that includes regular project status reports and project changes. Formally close projects by documenting lessons learned. PRICING AND CANCELLATION POLICY For pricing, please check the NetApp University LearningCenter. If you cancel your attendance less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the program, your department will be charged the program fee, unless you confirm a replacement to fill your seat.
