1 Features

1.1 Content

The content is divided into three parts: Information, GMP in Practice and GMP Regulations.

To access the content, click the appropriate button (orange) on the left-hand side of your screen.

Clicking on the "+" symbol opens the folder. Clicking on the title opens the chapter in the next level.

The text will appear on the right-hand side of the display window.

1.2 Links

There are often references in a section for more information within a different section. These cross-

references are available as links and enable you to find more information about a particular topic and

related subject areas. LINKS are displayed in blue!

1.3 Return to starting page

Click on the Maas & Peither logo to return to the starting page.

1.4 Search (full text search)

The "SEARCH" function enables a full text search of the entire GMP Compliance Adviser. Make your

search more precise by targeting only a part/section of the database or by linking several search

items. An automatic “Word Completion” starts after 3 letters.

Click on the ?-button to review more details about the search function.

1.5 ?-Button (brief instruction)

Click on the ?-button to find brief instructions of the most important features of the GMP Compliance

Adviser.

Adobe Reader is necessary. Review your browser settings, should problems occur with the interactive

document.

1.6 What’s new

The GMP Compliance Adviser is updated continuously. The latest update-information is listed under

the button “What’s New”. Previous updates are still available under the “Information” tab on the left-

hand side.

1.7 “Insider” Button

Review the latest GMP-Insider publications on the database updates.

1.8 Login and Logout

To use the complete database you need a paid subscription of the GMP Compliance Adviser.

Named user licence: click “Login” and fill in your login-name and password.

(If you forgot your password please contact us at service@gmp-publishing.com)

Corporate licence: with (a) registered IP address(es) you will be logged-in automatically.

After using the GMP Compliance Adviser Online, always use the “Logout” Button to properly close out

of the system.

1.9 “Member Extras”

In this section you will find exclusive complimentary content and member benefits.

Check here frequently for new topics.

1.10 “Index”

This button shows the GMP Compliance Adviser Index on the left-hand side of the display window.

It is arranged in alphabetical order. Click on the keyword you are looking for and the text(s) in which

this keyword occurs will be displayed on the right-hand side.

NOTE: the Index only contains keywords assigned by the GMP Compliance Adviser editorial team.

If you wish to conduct a full text search, you should use the "Search" function.

1.11 “History”

“History” on the left-hand side of the display window: Review the list of all previously viewed chapters.

1.12 “Favorites”

Add topics to your FAVORITES by clicking on the “Add To My Favorites” button.

You can view the text passage by clicking on the section title in your favourite list.

1.13 “Ask Our Experts”

You will be automatically connected with your respective mail program.

Your request will be treated confidentially.

1.14 Printing

Using the “Print” button offers you the possibility to print the current chapter.

In the print-preview you will see the exact page layout.

Furthermore, it shows the following details:

• Header with release date

• Company name

• Date of print

• Amount of pages

To use the print preview the Pop-up-feature needs to be enabled in the browser set-up!

2.1 Supplemental information for mobile devices

Mobile Devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) may not show the additional column – depending on the

screen display size. Use the symbol to get to the supplemental information.

3 Reading area

3.1 “Close”

Click on “close” (top left) to minimize header and enlarge the viewing area.

3.2 “Reading mode”

Use this button to enlarge the content field. To return to the regular view click on the “Normal Mode“

button.
