Be part of it.Godalming Town FC is an ambitious

community based club, running

a mens, ladies and youth team

from Wey Court. The first team

are currently competing in the

Southern League, and have reached

the playoffs three years out of

the last four, as well as winning

the prestigious Surrey Senior Cup

twice in this period. Our established

ladies team completed a league and

cup double in the 2012/13 season,

whilst the youth team finished in

an impressive third place in their

league.

The club has seen attendances

increase year on year, which

combined with pre-match training

sessions offered to local junior

teams has created a real community

buzz at the club.

With a young, ambitious backroom

team, Godalming Town is a club

on the up. We want you to join us

on our journey, and be part of our

future success.

Community.The club has made great strides

over the last 5 years to become an

active part of the local community,

with close ties to Farncombe Youth

and Milford Pumas. We provide free

pre-match training sessions for local

junior teams, as well as catering for

birthday parties.

Our junior supporters club, the

“Junior Gs”, now has over 300

members, and this is evident on

matchdays with a large family based

support always present.

We are also proud to have supported

the Godalming Mayor’s Staycation

programme from the outset. The

aim is to show the town that we

are their club and that everyone

is welcome. Last years Staycation

attracted 80 youngsters; this year

we expect to see that number reach

100. The whole event is offered

free of charge as part of our football

in the community campaign.

We also actively support the

Eagle Radio Trust, a charity who

provide funding for local groups &

organisations.


Success.On the field, the club is going through

an unprecedented spell of success.

The first teams 3rd place finish

marks the highest ever position for

the club in the non-league pyramid,

whilst another Surrey Senior Cup

win against Blue Square South side

Sutton United saw Godalming lift

the trophy for the 2nd time in four

years. Hopes are high that the team

is on track for another successful

season, with the ultimate aim being

promotion to step 3 of the non-

league pyramid.

An incredible season for the ladies

team saw them complete a league

and cup double. The ladies won the

Greater London Womens League

with ease, whilst victory in the Cup

saw further silverware arrive at

Wey Court.

The youth teams progression has

been an encouraging sight. A 3rd

place finish last season, the team

will be looking to push on and

compete for the title this season.


Exposure.Due to the success throughout

the club, exposure has been at an

all-time high. With thousands

of supporters visiting Wey Court

over a season, and over 600 unique

visitors to our website every single

day, there is no better way to

advertise your business to the local

community. Large pitchside banners

and programme adverts will ensure

your business is seen by all on a

matchday, whilst a prominent spot

on our website guarantees your

business will be noticed.

We enjoy a healthy relationship with

local/national media. The Surrey

Advertiser report on our matches

weekly. while BBC Radio Surrey also

promote select fixtures at the club.

Participating in the FA Cup & FA

Trophy increases Godalming Town’s

profile nationally.

2013 saw us work with Godalming

Round Table as we supported the

Godalming Carnival, where over

4000 people saw our display.
