SPORTS AND
KASHMIRI MIGRANTS AND FOR VACANT SEATS
SESSION 2016. It is notified that Chandigarh Administration has
reserved seats for NCC-A category, Dependents of defence personnel,
Sports Persons
and Kashmiri Migrants Categories in various Diploma Courses at
Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Sector 10 D, Chandigarh for the
session 2016-17. Admission to these category seats will be done
at the Institution level as per U.T., Administration Chandigarh
direction/guidelines for the Session 2016-17 as per schedule
given below: -
The Admission to Diploma level Courses shall be made on the
basis of the merit of the Subjects in Maths, Science and English
with
overall status pass in Matriculation except for MOP where Merit
of (10+2) with pass in Arts, Commerce & Science and for Diploma
in
Pharmacy where Merit of (10+2) with pass in Physics, Chemistry,
(Biology/Maths) is the criteria respectively.

Practice (MOP), & Diploma in Pharmacy. Also
through Lateral Entry.

The students seeking admission must bring original supporting
documents/D.O.B/Character certificate/DMC
testimonials/certificates
and all supporting documents for claiming above said
reservations at the time of admission for verification along with
three
photographs. Further the students seeking admission under sports
category must bring gradation certificate issued by Chandigarh
Administration, Sports Department for the games enlisted as per
latest policy of Chandigarh Administration Sports Department. If
the
seats in Categories form Sr. No. 1 to 3 are not filled they will
be thrown open and filled under general open category at 4.00
P.M.
onwards.
HOSTEL FACILITY AVAILABLE FOR GIRLS /WOMEN ONLY.
Fee shall be charged as per college prospectus 2016 along with
charges as prescribed by PSBTE.

for the admission and collection of application forms from 9.00
A.M. to
5.00 P.M.
