April 15th (easy to remember because of Tax Day) marks

8 years GPS Insight has been in business! We have grown

from a few customers in 2005 to over 1,500 customers

and more than 45,000 tracking devices in service today.

Full-screen & Dashlet Maps Now Use Google Mapping Technology

We upgraded our browser-based and dashlet mapping technology to Google

Maps. There are new options for Street View and improved view options

(map, satellite, traffic, etc.).

Customers will now be able to take advantage of even faster load times.

Switching between views is smoother as well.

One of the biggest upgrades is Street View, which is now included in both

our browser-based and dashlet maps. Simply click on the “orange guy” and

drag him to the location you want to see. Instantly the map in transformed

into a real-life visual of that particular area. This is a great resource for

getting a better perspective of where your drivers are.

New Mapping Features:

• Street View - Street View lets you

explore locations on a map through

360-degree street-level imagery.

• Satellite View - Updated satellite view

now includes a 45-degree view which

takes you from a flat bird’s-eye view to a

more 3D view on the location.

• Terrain View - Terrain view adds a

better view of the natural geography or

elevation of the location.

Landmark Begin/End of Day Report

Alerts on Integrated Garmin Devices

This new report allows customers to determine the amount

of personal use time and mileage between employees’

homes and jobsites for tax reporting and reporting

purposes.

Soon you will be able to receive alerts on any Garmin nuvi

device that is integrated with GPS Insight. In addition to

Garmin, you will still have the options of email or SMS text

message alerts.

This new functionality further expands on our alerting

capabilities to make it easy to monitor your fleet in a way

that’s most convenient to your needs.
