“The Last Days Church: A Watchman’s Warning”

II Timothy 4:1-4

Ezekiel 3:17

(2 Tim 4:3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

(2 Tim 4:4) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto

fables.

(1 Tim 1:4) Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister

questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

(1 Tim 4:7) But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto

godliness.

(Titus 1:14) Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

(2 Pet 1:16) For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made

known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses

of his majesty.

(2 Cor 11:20) For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a

man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.

(1 John 2:18-19) Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist

shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they

would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made

manifest that they were not all of us.

(1 John 4:1) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of

God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

(Jude 1:3-4) Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common

salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should

earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are

certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation,

ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Col 2:8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the

tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

(2 Pet 2:1) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be

false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying

the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

(2 Pet 2:2) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way

of truth shall be evil spoken of.

(2 Pet 2:3) And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make

merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their

damnation slumbereth not.

(2 Pet 2:12) But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak

evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own

corruption;

(2 Pet 2:13) And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it

pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with

their own deceivings while they feast with you;

(2 Pet 2:14) Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling

unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

(2 Pet 2:15) Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the

way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

(2 Pet 2:18) For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through

the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from

them who live in error.

(2 Pet 2:19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of

corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

(Jer 2:8) The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal,

and walked after things that do not profit.

(Jer 5:31) The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means;

(Jer 50:6) My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go

astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain

to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.

(Ezek 34:2) Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say

unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of

Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

(Ezek 34:3) Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed:

but ye feed not the flock.

(Ezek 34:4) The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which

was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought

again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with

force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.

(Ezek 34:5) And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became

meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.

(Ezek 34:6) My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill:

yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek

after them.

(Ezek 34:7) Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;

(Ezek 34:8) As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey,

and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd,

neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and

fed not my flock;

(Mal 2:7) For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at

his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

(Mal 2:8) But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

(Jer 5:31) The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and

my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

(2 Tim 4:3-5) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but

after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And

they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But

watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full

proof of thy ministry.

(Micah 2:11) If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will

prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this

people.

(Judg 21:25) In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was

right in his own eyes.

(Amos 8:11) Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in

the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the

LORD:

(Phil 3:19) Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

(2 Ki 17:33) They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of

the nations whom they carried away from thence.

(Mat 7:21-23) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the

kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many

will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy

name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then

will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

(Mat 25:11-12) Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

(Luke 13:25-27) When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the

door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open

unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then

shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in

our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me,

all ye workers of iniquity.

(2 Cor 13:5) Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.

Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

(2 John 1:8) Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought,

but that we receive a full reward.

(Jude 1:21) Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord

Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

(1 John 4:1) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of

God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

(Acts 17:11) These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received

the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those

things were so.

(Exo 32:26) Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the

LORD'S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves

together unto him.
