Most Psychologists are covering 5-6 buildings.Assignment responsibilities and services are growingincluding RTI & PBIS; assessment of students in publicschools, non-public schools, alternative schools, ABAcenters; progress monitoring; administrator, teacher andparent support and training; social skills counseling;coordinate outreach activities and communicate withoutside agencies; and tracking coordinated earlyintervening services.

Indiana Code 511 IAC 4-1.5-2 recommends:

1 School Psychologist per 700 students in the corporation.

The National Association of School Psychologist (NASP) and the American

Psychological Association (APA) recommends school psychologist carry a

caseload of 500-700 students.

Psychologists serving LSC, TSC & WLCSC Schools have caseloads that range from 1800 to 3800 students.
