Trojan War Basically, the whole

beginning of the war started because Helen and Paris fell in love. They then eloped and were on their way to Troy. The problem was that Helen was already married to Menelaus, king of Sparta. When Menelaus found out he was very angry. He then asked his brother, Agamemnon, to help get Helen back from Troy. After all this, the war began.

Throughout the journey, the gods did their justice. The war raged on and lasted for over 10 years. When the time had come, the Trojans were very happy because they thought the armies had left. Unfortunately, that was not the case. At night, the armies came out and attacked the Trojans. To end it all, the Greeks burnt down the city of Troy.
