Leprino Foods – New Cheese-Make, Whey processing and Distribution Center, Greeley, CO. I am extremely proud to have been a part of this project and team. A part of the design build and site management of over 756,000 Square Feet of new processing plant. My role was senior construction manager for Leprino foods as a direct construction expert working with and for the owner. This project brought together the absolute best in the dairy ingredient industry. We also created a true partnership between Leprino Foods, the City of Greeley as well as the State of Colorado by not only selecting this site for our new plant but also bringing about four-hundred full time skilled jobs. The plant will produce not only the world renown mozzarella cheese for which Leprino Foods is known for but also to break new ground in the drying and process of lactose and whey ingredients. The plant have a waste water treatment plant that exceeds the size and capacity of the city’s own waste water treatment plant, sites a top approximately a one hundred acre site (100 acre) when in full production will produce approximately 2 billion pounds of fresh mozzarella cheese in addition to other direct protein products. The plant has two evaporators, one whey and one lactose dryer, with 140,000 of dry ingredient warehouse refrigerated warehouse space. In addition multiple conveyors, robotic box & palletizers, wrappers, super-sack conveyors, hoist ways, scientific facilities, laboratory, clean room, air-showers & more. This project allowed for me to be involved in every aspect of the construction management with direct scheduling of all trades to ensure the proper interaction, coordination as well as sequence of not only the process or construction trades but all trades to allow for a seamless and timely start-up, commissioning and turn-over. Sq. Ft. +/- 756,000.new Cost total: +/-$350,000,000. Delivery: GMP / Design-Build Schedule: 28 months. Position: Sr. Construction Manager
