WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST

Kathy Andrzejewski (Costume Designer). Mrs. A. has costumed the GHS fall plays and spring musicals since the fall of 2002. THE PAJAMA GAME has always been one of her favorite shows. She is thrilled to see these wonderful characters come to life on our GHS stage. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Paige Bednarz (Assistant Stage Manager). Paige, a junior, is very excited to be As-sistant Stage Managing for the 1st time in THE PAJAMA GAME. Although she has been on crew for 6 other productions, she hopes that you enjoy the show and laugh at...well, she won’t say what.

Eric Christiansen (Director; Lighting & Set Designer). This is Mr. Christiansen’s ninth year at GHS, where he teaches Theatre and English. His theatre education has included professional theatre training programs at The National Theatre Institute (O’Neill Theatre Center, New London, CT), what is now the Brown University/Trin-ity Rep Consortium, Providence, RI, and a Master’s Degree in Theatre Directing from the Chicago College of Performing Arts, Roosevelt University. He serves as Chairman of the Board of NORMAL In Schools, Inc., the charity formed by Ms. Robyn Hussa as a result of the 2006 GHS Advanced Theatre Class production of the musical NORMAL, and continues (with Ms. Hussa) to co-direct the NORMAL profes-sional tour. He is delighted to be serving Greendale and its wonderful students.

Peter Crapitto (Pop). Peter, a sophomore, has been interested in theatre for a while, and is completely psyched to be taking part in his fourth GHS Theatre production.

He previously appeared in MACBETH, THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR and ANNIE. He couldn’t think of a better way to spend his free time. His other interests include soccer, creative writing, and tae-kwondo. He loves the theatre and all the great kids he’s met through the program.

Joe Czerwinski (Ensemble). Joe, a sophomore, is very excited to be part of this GHS Theatre production THE PAJAMA GAME, as Anderson. He has

previously appeared in MACBETH at GHS. He has also been in EUPHONY, GENEROSITY AND GREED, and JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. This will be Joe’s second show at GHS.

Kristin Eul (Ensemble). This being her first musical theatre performance, Kristin is very excited to be playing the role of “Car-men” in the ensemble of this year’s show THE

PAJAMA GAME. Kristin has grown extremely close to her cast family and is so thankful for this experience. She wishes everyone involved in the show to break a leg and hopes you enjoy the GHS production of THE PAJAMA GAME!

Clara Faile (Ensemble). Clara appeared as the First Witch in the GHS fall play, MACBETH. She is very excited to be performing in the ensemble as Pat in her first musical, THE

PAJAMA GAME. It’s a wonderful experience for Clara and she looks forward to future GHS productions. Thanks to all her cast mates and a big thanks to Mom and Dad for their help and support.

Jack Fennimore (Ensemble). Jack is happy to be in his fifth theatre production since eighth grade. He has performed many roles, including a hideous, one-eyed giant,

a corrupt police chief, a football crazed college student, Fleance, the son of Banquo, and now a fun-loving factory worker. He hopes you enjoy this production.

Carly Gaeth (Mabel). Carly cannot think of a better way to leave her mark on GHS theatre than to be Mabel, the “mother hen” (old lady), in this production of THE PAJAMA GAME.

She is leaving knowing that she has had the best of times with all of her beloved theatre folk and would like to thank them for all of their hard work. Break a leg!

Zoe Gaspar (Ensem-ble). Zoe, a freshman, is very happy to be in the GHS Theatre musical, THE PAJAMA GAME. Previously, she appeared in the Fall Play, MACBETH, 3 GMS

plays and, last year, as an orphan in the 2010 GHS musical ANNIE. Zoe wants to thank her parents and friends for support-ing her in the production.

Erica Gore (Ensemble). Erica has been in musicals the last three years including THE SOUND OF MUSIC, ANNIE and this year’s, THE PAJAMA GAME. She is so excited to be

a part of the musicals here at GHS, and has enjoyed the musicals here through all of her years. She does not enjoy anything more than a good musical. She hopes that everyone enjoys this musical experience this year as much as she has!

Rachel Grabowski (Ensemble). This is Rachel’s first time performing in a GHS production. She is very excited to be a part of the dance ensemble in THE PAJAMA GAME

and looks forward to being in future productions. Rachel also wants to thank her older sisters for encouraging her to audition and couldn’t be more thrilled to perform!

Jenna Gradinjan (Ensemble). Jenna is excited to be in her first production at Greendale High School. She has been on the Poms team for two years and has been

dancing for ten years. She would like to thank her directors for helping put on a great show! She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she does.

Ashley Hess (Ensem-ble). Ashley is a sophomore and is thrilled to be playing Charlene in this production of THE PAJAMA GAME. This is her third GHS

production, previously appearing in MACBETH and ANNIE. Ashley would like to thank Mr. C, Mrs. A, Karl, Donna, the cast, the crew, the pit, and everyone who made this show a great experience.

Burgoyne Hughes III (Hasler). Burgoyne is thrilled to be playing the part of Hasler in the GHS production of THE PAJAMA GAME. This is Burgoyne’s 4th GHS production. He has

played roles such as Osip in THE GOVERN-MENT INSPECTOR, and the title role in MACBETH. Sit back and enjoy the show!

Miranda Joslin (Mae). Miranda, a sophomore, loves showing off her comical side as Mae in THE PAJAMA GAME, her first GHS Theatre production. She would like to thank the cast,

crew, and pit, who worked very hard to make this show memorable, and her family and friends for their constant support and encouragement.

Kate Jungers (Ensemble). Kate is a sophomore who is thrilled to be apart of THE PAJAMA GAME, her second theatre production at GHS.

Hail Kazik (Ensemble). Hail is a Freshman this year at GHS, and he is thrilled to be perform-ing with wonderful cast members and directors this year. He thinks it is an absolute pleasure to

be a part of this process. He wishes that you enjoy the atmosphere of the performance.

Katie Korek (Ensemble). Katie, a freshman, is very excited to be in her second production at GHS. Previously seen as part of the Witch Ensemble in

MACBETH, she is thrilled to be part of such a fun show. She’d like to thank Mr. C., everyone who put in so much hard work to make this show a success, and the cast for all of the fun and memories.

Kelly Korek (Ensemble). Kelly, a junior, is beyond excited to be appearing in her 7th show at GHS. She has loved every minute of polka-ing, sewing, and craziness that went along with

this amazing show. Unending thanks to Mr. C and everyone else who put in countless hours to make this show a success, and to the cast for all the incredible memories.

Miranda Krasinski (Ensemble). Miranda is a junior and very excited to be in her first GHS musical. She can’t wait to perform in this unforgettable show with the amazing

cast and crew :)

Donna Kummer (Music Director). Donna Kummer has been involved in over 150 theatrical productions in the Milwaukee area over the past 20 years. She provided musical direction at Modjeska Youth The-atre for 9 years for shows which included CATS, DREAMGIRLS, and WEST SIDE STORY. She also currently works with Skylight Opera Theatre in their Teaching Artist program, bringing hands-on musi-cal projects to public and private schools. Donna has worked with numerous pro-fessional, community and school theatres including Sunset Playhouse, In Tandem Theatre and Carroll University. Donna’s conducting credits include EVITA, CHESS, and SEUSSICAL. She also frequently directs from the keyboard for such shows as FANTASTICKS, AIDA, and 175 perfor-mances of I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE! Donna also serves as the Director of Music for Plymouth UCC Church in Milwaukee and the conductor of Wauwatosa Community Band and Tosa Jazz. She is grateful to Eric and Karl for introducing her to the wonderful Green-dale students this year.

Mara Kuzmanovic (Ensemble, Dance Captain). Mara is very excited to perform in this production of THE PAJAMA GAME. Her past GHS Theatre performances include

ANNIE (Servants’ Ensemble), THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Louisa) and OLIVER! (Orphan). She thanks everyone who has helped make this show such a success and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Alec Lachman (Salesman). Alec is a junior and is PUMPED to be in his 6th GHS Theatre production. He wants to thank all the cast and crew for the hard work that it

took to make this show awesome.

Marressa Maldonado (Production Stage Manager). Marressa, a Senior, is on crew for the 11th and stage-managing for the 7th and final time in this upbeat, fun musical. She would like to thank the cast & crew for an amazing high school theatre career, and for the experiences and fun, memorable times she’s had.

Sean Marus (Hines). Sean is ecstatic to be appearing in his 11th GHS production, THE PAJAMA GAME. Although he is excited to be in this musical, it is very bittersweet.

Being a senior, Sean is sad that his theatre career at GHS is coming to a close. He would also like to thank his family and friends for the all of their support and the cast, crew, and pit for all of their hard work. Sean knows that the time he spent in the theatre was the best way he could ever spend it. Enjoy the show!

John McAdams (Prez). John, a senior, is very excited to appear in this production of THE PAJAMA GAME. He wants to thank all the cast, pit and crew for all of their hard work.

Molly McCormick (Ensemble). Molly is so excited to be part of her third and final GHS musical. She would like to thank her wonderful friends and family for all

their support. She would also like to remind everyone that “whatever doesn’t kill you simply makes you stranger.” Enjoy the show!

Evan McVann (First Helper). Evan, a sophomore, is happy performing for his third year with Greendale High School. He enjoys the theatre a lot and

performed with GHS as Kurt in SOUND OF MUSIC, was a child in LA BOHEME with the Skylight Opera Company, and the Son of Macduff in MACBETH. Another favorite role has been playing “Chip” in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST with Greendale Commu-nity Theatre. He sings in the Milwaukee Children’s Choir, plays the clarinet, and enjoys history.

Megan McVann (Ensemble). Meghan, a junior, is excited to perform in THE PAJAMA GAME. She loves theatre, music and dance. She’s performed in

NOR-MAL (ensemble), MACBETH (Murderer), THE GOVERNMENT INSPEC-TOR (Innkeeper’s Wife), ANNIE (Orphan), Next Act Summer Theater, and CCYM. She dances with Next Step Dance Studio, plays the saxophone and plays the cello with MYSO.

Nick Meythaler (Sid Sorokin). Nick is very excited to be performing in the GHS presentation of THE PAJAMA GAME; this is his sixth GHS production since

entering high school in 2008. This will be his first show as a main character and he is grateful for the privilege to perform the role of Sid Sorokin, the new superintendent of the Sleep Tite Pajama factory. He would

like to thank the parents, crewmembers, the pit orchestra, Mr. C, Mrs. A and all those who made this show possible. Sit back and enjoy the show.

Karl Miller (Choreographer). Karl has been active in Milwaukee Theatre for over 30 years as an Actor, Dancer, Singer, Choreogra-pher, Director and Teacher. Karl has choreo-graphed for many professional, community and high school theatres. He has worked at Homestead (16 years), Wauwatosa West (4 years), Oconomowoc (4 years) and single shows with Cudahy, Brookfield Central, Whitnall and Slinger. This is Karl’s 6th show with GHS Theatre. Past shows are ANNIE, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, ONCE UPON A MAT-TRESS, KISS ME, KATE and SWEET CHARITY. THE PAJAMA GAME has been a dream of Karl’s for over 15 years and he is very happy to have finally choreographed it. Karl has choreographed THE THREEPENNY OPERA, SPEECH AND DEBATE and URINETOWN at UW Whitewater. He has Directed CARNIVAL and YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN for First Stage Children’s Theater Musical Company Class and Young Company. He has Choreographed EINSTEIN: HERO OF THE MIND, THE MAGIC MRS PIGGLE WIGGLE, GIGGLE GIGGLE QUACK and MY SON PINOC-CHIO for First Stage. Karl teaches Musical Theatre Classes at First Stage. He is also a Teaching Artist for The Skylight Education Department where he spends 3 weeks with the High School of The Arts theatre majors working on condensed versions of musicals. Karl studied dance at Dance Spectrum, Wil-liam Reilly School of Ballet and The Milwau-kee Performing Arts Center School.

Kyli Morgan (Poopsie). Kyli is a sophomore at GHS and is performing as Poopsie in THE PAJAMA GAME. The singing, dancing and being with friends

aspects of joining theatre are what gave her the courage to try out this year -- and it’s been an amazing experience. :)

Holly Mudrock (Ensemble). Holly, a junior, is ecstatic to be in her second theatre production at Greendale. She has been dancing for 12

years, and is a member of the Greendale Poms Team for her third year. She thanks Mr. Christiansen, Karl, Donna, and the whole cast for their hard work and support, and she hopes you all enjoy the show!

Brittany Nycz (Ensemble). Brittany, a junior , is very excited to appear in this production of THE PAJAMA GAME. She wants to thank all the cast, pit and crew for all

of their hard work. Enjoy the show!

Matt Przybylski (Ensemble). Matt, a freshman is excited to be in his second show at GHS! His past show at GHS was MACBETH as the Messenger. Matt has been in all three

GMS plays and in CCYM’s production of ANNIE. He liked working with the cast, crew, Mr. C, and Mrs. A on THE PAJAMA GAME!! He hopes you enjoy the show!

Wil Raasch (Joe). Another year has arrived and Wil has found himself in his second GHS musical. He is more than thrilled to be a part this show and go back to the

time of malt shops and P.F flyers. A thanks goes out to everyone involved in this production and their abundant contribu-tion of time and energy. How much would 7 ½ cents be in 2011? .075 (from 1954) X 8.2 (inflation rate) = 61.5 cents in 2011. 8-hour work day would then give you $4.91 more than your normal salary. Since the math is all cleared up, enjoy the show!

Jacob Regenfelder (Charley). Jacob is very proud to be performing in THE PAJAMA GAME as a senior. He has truly treasured the past shows such as THE SOUND OF MUSIC, THE

GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR and ANNIE. He wishes to thank all cast members, crew, pit, and everyone involved in his past shows for helping to make these four years awesome!

Tom Reifenberg (Pit Orchestra Conductor). Tom is in his tenth year as Director of Bands at GHS, directing the six-time defending WSMA Class AA State Marching Band Champions. He received his music educa-tion degree in 2001 from UW-Whitewater and his master’s degree in music education from Boston University in 2009. Tom is also the co-founder of the Greendale Commu-nity Theatre and has music-directed shows with First Stage, Waukesha Civic Theatre, the Shorewood Players, and the Normal In Schools project.

Natalie Ricciardi (Ensemble). Natalie, last year playing ‘Pepper’ in ANNIE, now plays the role of ‘Mara’ in the Ensemble this year in THE PAJAMA GAME. She has truly enjoyed

every part of this production, as both cast and helping out the crew on Wednesdays. Natalie would like to thank all cast and crew members and all the family and friends who have supported her.

Danielle Riedel (Gladys). Danielle, a senior, has been involved in GHS Theatre productions for three years. Past musical productions were ANNIE (Star To Be,

Servants’ Ensemble) and THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Goatherd Dancer), in addition to the Fall Advanced Theatre Production, LIFE WITH MOTHER SUPERIOR (Marvel Ann).

Danielle feels very privileged and excited to be a part of the GHS Theatre program. She would like to thank all of the directors, stage managers as well as the entire cast, crew, and audience who have helped make this production possible. She hopes that everyone enjoys THE PAJAMA GAME as much as she enjoyed being a part of it.

Sydney Rosengarten (Ensemble). Sydney is a freshman and is so excited to be in her third GHS Theatre production, having previously appeared in MACBETH and ANNIE.

Sydney would like to thank Mr. Christian-sen, Donna and Karl for helping make this show possible. She would also like to thank everyone in the cast & crew for making her feel so welcome. She is very grateful that her family and friends were there, supporting her throughout the entire rehearsal process, and she hopes that you enjoy watching the show as much as she enjoyed being a part of it.

Sarah Scheuer (Ensemble). Sarah, a sophomore, is very excited to be in her second GHS musical, previously appearing in last year’s ANNIE. Sarah really enjoys being a

part of musicals because she loves to dance and sing, and even though they’re a lot of work, she has a lot fun! Sarah feels very privileged to be part of the GHS Theatre and

Emily Sparks (Assistant Stage Manager). Emily has been a part of the GHS Theatre all four years of her high school career. As a senior, this will be her third time assistant stage

managing and her eighth and final GHS Theatre production. She wants to thank the cast and crew for all the AMAZING memories--break a leg, guys!

David Stock (Second Helper). David, a senior, has participated in many plays and musicals, here and elsewhere, including MACBETH, ANNIE, THE GOVERNMENT

INSPECTOR, CHICAGO, HAMLITE, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, CINDER-ELLA, and THE SOUND OF MUSIC. He is very excited to be part of THE PAJAMA GAME, his fifth GHS Theatre production!

Sarah Takacs (Ensemble; Dance Captain). Sarah is really excited to be in her second show at GHS. She really enjoyed the musical last year, and

had a great time getting to know the cast of THE PAJAMA GAME. Her past shows include, PAPA PANOV, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, CINDERELLA, NOR-MAL (2011 Tour) and ANNIE. Break a leg, everyone!

Kenzie Taychert (Ensemble). Kenzie is very excited to be in her second and last musical at GHS. Previously, she was seen as a nun in THE SOUND OF MUSIC. She wants to congratu-

late the cast and crew for working so hard on this show and hopes you enjoy it!

Ameara Wahhab (Babe Williams). Ameara is excited and honored to be in her fifth GHS musical. She is a senior and has been in the musicals ONCE UPON A

MATTRESS, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, ANNIE and NORMAL She is so excited to add another production to her list of GHS performances. Enjoy the show!

Sara Weiss (Brenda). Sara, a senior, is in disbelief that this is her last musical. You may have seen her in previous shows, such as DREAM GIRL, THE GOOD PERSON OF

SICHUAN, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR, DON’T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK, ANNIE, A NIGHT WITH DAVID IVES, and her most recent ones being MACBETH and LIFE WITH MOTHER SUPERIOR, and now playing the role of the remarkable Brenda. DIRECTOR ’S NOTES

A year ago this month, I asked Karl Miller, our Choreographer, what show he wanted to do next. He said “a big dance show, where the kids REALLY have to work, something with great music and huge ensemble numbers that involve everyone.” I asked him what show he had in mind, and, immediately, he said, “The Pajama Game.” Now, this show happens to be one of the favorites of both Kathy A (Costume Designer) and Jeanne C (wife of the Director), and so has been near the top of my list for years. The stars had aligned, and here we are. Funny how things work out....
