What Is a Greenwall?A greenwall is a vertical garden. A system to attach plants to

walls o buildings and homes. There are a number o greenwall

systems to choose rom:

1. Modular: a container lled with a growing medium that is

attached to the wall.

2. Industrial Felts: the plants root into the brous material,

with water and nutrients being delivered through the layers

o abrics.

3. Faade Greening: A green aade is a structure that is

attached to the side o a house or building that allows plants

to grow rom the ground up or rom planter boxes.

4. Active or Passive: greenwalls can be connected to air

conditioning systems and these are called Active greenwalls

or Biowalls. Passive greenwalls are stand alone systems andthey deliver resh air in their immediate area.

What are the benefts o

Greenwalls?Space saving benefts: putting your garden vertically you use

very little foor space. Great or Apartments, inner city terraces

and small urban development.

Insulation: Insulate your property with greenwalls. The small

cavity between the greenwall and the host wall remains at a

relatively constant temperature.

Aesthetic Appeal: our greenwalls add a distinctive style to

any room or building.

Energy Savings: The eects o evapotranspiration o

greenwalls has been documented by Canadian Studies.

Greenwalls can reduce the energy consumption o a building

by reducing the need or air conditioning. The cooling eect oplants transpiring reduces the heat o buildings.

Acoustic Benefts: Greenwalls have good phonic qualities

and can be used to absorb sound waves.

Air Quality: Greenwalls act as a biolter that captures

and denatures pollutants known as VOCs (Volatile Organic

Compounds).

Biophilia: the sense o wellbeing that is created by our

interactions with plants.

Water recycling: The plants can puriy slighty polluted watersuch as Grey Water. Greenwalls can act as Biolters removing

heavy metals.

Schedule o FeesThe price per square metre or our greenwalls is between

$1000 - $1800. Any custom works will be priced at a rate

subject to the project specications. This price includes the

structure o the wall and plant material. Lighting and irrigation are

separate issues that will be addressed at the initial consultation.

Consultation

Our Consultation rate is $100.00 per hour.

Labour

Labour is charged out at $55 per hour per person.

Project Management

10% o the total project cost.

Contract

Ater the initial consultation and a design has been agreed on

we will drat a contract o works. Upon signing o the contract a

deposit o 30% o the contract price will be required to com-

mence works.

Travel

Travel is billed outside the Sydney Metropolitan Area.
