E.g. of authentic texts for Section B, Paper 2: Menu, Advertisement, Newspaper article, Brochure
Student may refer to specimen papers given by subject teacher

5 Details of Preliminary Exam
6 Absence from tests
(a) Medical certificates must be produced if your child/ ward is absent for the test. (b) Parent’s letter is strongly discouraged and its validity will be approved based on a case-by-case
basis. (c) Absence from any test without a valid reason and refusal to submit work will result in zero mark for
the test/ assignment. (d) Do note that your child/ ward will have to do a make-up test on the day he/she returns to school.
We look forward to your continual and strong support for your child. This will definitely help him/her better prepare for the heavy academic demands in 2019.
Do feel free to contact your child’s/ ward’s Malay Language teacher should you need further clarification on this matter.
