GUBB & MACKIE SUMMER 2015 SYNOPSIS

Summer 2015’s inspiration is weekend getaways. Taking a break from your busy schedule and spending time by the water. When travelling clothes need to be practical and comfortable whilst still looking good.

This season striking prints and fresh colours are explored throughout the collection with linen, tropical wools and cottons used for jackets, shorts and shirts. Practically speaking the loose open weave allows for air to pass through the garments when the air is hot.

Also new this season is lightweight knitwear, in a transeasonal weight it can be worn in any timezone and hemisphere - the perfect travel companion.

Styles that are intended to be layered include V-necks and Cardigans. A new addition is a long sleeve Polo, just right as a substitute for a shirt in Spring. Worn under a jacket it’s ideal when the temperature drops in the evening.
