Guide on how to convert video files using Format Factory

Format Factory can be used to convert a range of video, audio and picture files to specified formats.

Step 1

Open Format Factory and select the type of file you would like to format e.g. video, audio or picture

etc.

Step 2

Select the file format that you want to convert your files to e.g. MP4

Step 3 Click on “Add File”. Browse to your files and add them to the program. You can select multiple

files to be formatted instead of formatting one file at a time. Check that the Output folder is set to “Output to source file folder” by selecting it from the drop down list.

Step 4 Start Converting Videos by clicking on the “Start” button and wait for the conversion to finish - you

will be able to see its progress as it is converted.

Step 5 Your converted files can now be found in the folder that the converted files originated from.
