Come see work by Fine and Media Arts students ranging from pieces in sculpture and ceramics to pencil, print, and multimedia design. Enjoy live performances by the Music, Dance, and Theatre programs, with rotating performances happening on the hour. Taste a fiery dessert preprared by Culinary Arts students. Left: Colleen Cox. 2 6 PM | Broadway Commerce Center (44 W Broadway) ArtCore is an immersive arts-integration research program in which students, teachers, and artist “Weavers” develop and implement arts-integrated curriculum and practices. This ArtCore Spring Student Showcase features art by students at five local middle schools. Check out what they have been working on, watch videos, and hear from the Weavers and students. 3 6:30 PM | InEugene Real Estate (100 E Broadway) Greta Latchford uses an innovative combination of stained glass and textile collage to create symbolic works. She states, “I increase my textural options through using fabrics. Fabrics also allow for a greater range of values than is typical with stained glass mosaics. Decorative soldering, beading, paper and other mixed media may find its way into my work.” 4 7 PM | Karin Clarke Gallery (760 Willamette St) “Land and Sea” is a large scale exhibition of landscapes and seascapes of the Northwest by Erik Sandgren. Erik studied painting and printmaking at Yale and Cornell, and then went on to serve as a one-man art department at Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen, Washington. This exhibition is a celebration of his recent retirement. 5 7:30 PM | MECCA (449 Willamette St) Now it it’s 10th year, Object Afterlife challenges artists to re-imagine unwanted materials and turn scrap into art. Participants were given a mystery box of materials, a MECCA gift certificate, and two months to create. The resulting artworks inspire us all to think differently about the materials we may consider waste. Stop by during the ArtWalk to vote for your favorite! 8 The Lincoln Gallery (309 W 4th Ave) “Composed” - The OSLP Arts & Culture Program partnered with the Eugene Symphony for their Art & Music Together Class, in which participants created artwork inspired by the music, compositions, and the process of Eugene Symphony guest composer Augusta Read Thomas.

9 MAVEN (271 W 8th Ave) Haley Jensen builds bridges between the realms of emotional experience, dreamscape, and reality with her surreal 35mm film photography. Sample French Cookie, One Love Wines, and Maven’s steamed buns. 10 The New Zone Gallery

11 OUT ON A LIMB Gallery (191 E Broadway) Working primarily in pen and ink, Ayana Perry inspires appreciation for nature, which is illustrated in her unusual pairings of plants and animals. While her work is largely based on observation, she works mostly from memory, which infuses her work with imagination. 12 Raven Frame Works

(325 W 4th Ave) Dan Chen introduces a new body of work: interpretations of classic Chinese brush calligraphy into 3- dimensional bronze. 13 White Lotus Gallery

(767 Willamette St) “Peer Gynt: Paintings by Satoko Motouji,” through May 12th. Satoko was invited by the Eugene Ballet to produce paintings to be used as background stage design for their upcoming performance Peer Gynt. At 5:30pm, costumed dancers from Eugene Ballet will be at the gallery!
