Non-fiction Retell Using a hand as a memory aid is a useful tool for young children: laminate and display or enlarge for wall display. OR replicate on big paper, using kids’ drawings. Encourage students to use this format when they are retelling non-fiction. It helps keep them to the point without bringing in unnecessary detail.
