ELDER'S EXPRESSIONS Over the next several weeks you will begin to hear announcements about broadening the response/invitation process after our Sunday Morning sermons. In an effort to improve congregational communication and ensure we are praying for every known need, we will be asking our members to submit prayer requests along with any personal responses. Every prayer request is important and the current invitation does not make the submitting a prayer request as easy as it should. Therefore, in the near future when the invitation is offered you will be asked to submit any prayer request you may have personally or about another member or friend/relative. We will be adding new YELLOW cards to the pews to allow you to record your prayer request before the invitation. The 5 elders and ministers will assist you in getting those picked up. Of course we will still (and always will) encourage personal responses to the gospel or anyone desiring comfort and

personal prayer to come to the front. Once the cards are gathered the preacher will read them to the congregation and one of the elders will pray over them as our closing prayer for the worship service. The prayer request will be taken to the elder's meeting that day and again individually prayed over. The office will ensure they get published, unless otherwise noted, in the bulletin. We know sometimes needs get overlooked and we want to take the necessary steps to improve and broaden our communication channels. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask one of the elders or ministers. In Service
