Happy Holidays from the Heisel Family 2015 Rachel graduates from Southern Methodist University this December! Robbie works at Kroger near our house and is one great worker. James is still at Collin College and looking to transfer possibly to Colorado State, and has a new job. Joe is a senior set to graduate and applying at Ohio State University, a new job as well, and Libby is in 7 th Grade at Hunt Middle School. The family went to Ohio this summer and we had a blast! We got a Ninja Blender, and just so you know, it is for making smoothies, not margaritas. Paul (loves baseball, writing, The Martian, Interstellar, Fallout 4 – cell phone 214-763-1380) Work on his An Emperor’s Fury series of books continues, along with receiving the rejection letters from publishers and agents. Ah, perseverance and patience, it will pay off one day. Regular work is going well at FM Global in Dallas, a bit more travel and teaching at the home office. Spent lots of time with Joe and his baseball team this summer. In April, he replaced his "old" 5 Series BMW with a gorgeous, new Estoril blue 2 Series M Coupe. For those of you who aren't car nuts (like Paul is now), M = fast. Deb (pharmacy employed and PTA VP – cell phone 214-803-0672) Deb is at Methodist on the night shift. She's still available on Facebook or by cell phone. We had a big celebration in Ohio over July 4, with Deb reaching an important milestone that we won't mention. She's involved again with the Hunt Middle School PTA as VP and in charge of membership, which through the collective efforts increased 65% from the previous year. Way to go Deb! She still loves the show Game of Thrones and can't believe they killed off John Snow. Maybe magic can bring him back??? Rachel (23-1/2 – loves Japan, graduating, next phase of life beginning – cell phone 214-763-1384) Rachel graduates on the 19 th of December! Yeah! Major in International Studies and Double Minor in Japanese. She will be taking the next level of her Japanese proficiency test this December. She’s stayed busy with school and her hobbies, as well as enjoying the last bit of college life while she can. At the SMU football games, she says the tailgating festivities on the Boulevard are well, much better than the football. Congratulations Rachel on your incredible accomplishment! She will walk the stage in May. Robbie (22 – Mango Margarita Man, says he wants to learn Spanish, Fallout 4, cell phone 469-980-9716) If you want great customer service at Kroger, make sure Robbie is there to help you. He does a great job at Kroger and receives many compliments about his good work ethic and service. He walks to and from the store each day. His phone is new, so text him or message him on Facebook. No change in the Costanza Wallet, it's still thick and even carries change. We are proud of Robbie and how well he had adapted to work life. He is a big helper at home, learning how to cook and helping his mom and dad. James (20 – in college – Nintendo Smash King, Fallout 4, cell phone 214-763-1383) Construction management is still his goal, and to make it happen he's considering transferring to Colorado State where many Heisel family members have graduated. He has a new job at Freebirds, the third busiest store in the nation, so it seems like he is always working. He's really into Smash Brothers (Nintendo) and Fallout 4, like Robbie. He recently updated his wardrobe with selections from Polo and PacSun, and is looking great. Joseph (17-1/2 – FIFA 16, baseball fanatic, Counterstrike – cell phone 214-620-7498) Joe is on the road to college, and is applying at several colleges including Ohio State which is his number 1 choice. He recently became employed by Smashburger where he keeps busy when he isn't working out at the club. He had a decent year of baseball, is now 6'3", stronger, and leaner and meaner, and had a great outing when he pitched at Perfect Game in August. He's picked up playing recreational soccer with his friends and following his favorite team, Borussia Dortmund, and his favorite player Marco Reus. Libby (12-1/2 – sings in the choir, taller, middle school basketball, Minecraft – cell phone 214-449-9097) Libby has grown in the last year, getting almost as tall as Deb but not quite. She's happy to be on the B Team for 7 th grade basketball, playing the center because she can snag rebounds. Libby and Dad still watch movies together, recently picking up the Star Wars franchise with the new movie coming out this month. She enjoys designing houses and estates on Minecraft, which are cool to look at and go over the design elements with her. Brodie (10-1/2 – top dog, spoiled, well-loved, afraid of his water bowl) Brodie is still a joy and our faithful companion. He mopes around, though, when Deb goes to work, so we know whose dog he really is. He's still afraid of his water bowl gurgling, and no, he won't be getting a cell phone or car, at least not this year.
