    National Youth Corps- a new scheme- enables youngmen and women in the age group of 18-25 yrs to serve upto two years in nation building.

    OBJECTIVES To set up a group of disciplined and dedicated youth who

    have the inclination and spirit to engage in the task ofnation building

    Any Ministry /Dept under GoI or State Govt can

    enroll and deploy the volunteers under thescheme.

    Volunteers deployed in these Org. subject tofull discipline of the Org. with which she/he works

    The Dept/Org deploying the volunteers will befully responsible to supervise and manage the

    volunteers during their engagement. Payment of honorarium, training, skill

    development and any other cost towardsvolunteers to be borne by the concerned Dept .
