To access the parking: Drive on the North Side of Navy Pier to the second parking garage (East Lot). Exit the parking garage through Door #9 and follow the signed for Festival Hall A. Mystic Blue is docked right across from Festival Hall A. (look straight ahead and you will see the ship )
Entrance: TTHS students must have their school ID & boarding pass for
entry. All guests must also have a picture ID
Dress: If your attire is deemed unacceptable, and does not adhere to
the dress code, you will not be admitted to the Prom.

THE PROM EXPERIENCE SHOULD BE LOOKED UPON AS A SHOWCASE OF ELEGANCE, STYLE, SOPHISTICATION, AND
GOOD TASTE. KEEPING THIS IN MIND, A COMMITTEE OF FACULTY, PARENTS AND STUDENTS HAVE MET AND
PREPARED THE FOLLOWING PROM ATTIRE GUIDELINES FOR ALL STUDENTS AND THEIR GUESTS.

Thornton Township High School 2014 Prom Code of Conduct/Date Form

Every student attending the prom with a guest that does not attend Thornton Township High School must have their
guest complete this form.
To ensure that Prom is an evening that everyone enjoys, please obey the following rules and regulations. Please read
and sign below. 1. The Prom is a TTHS event; therefore, all TTHS policies,
procedures, and regulations apply. No guest shall possess,
use, distribute, sell, possess with intent to distribute or sell, be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, including any
unauthorized prescription drug, tobacco, and/or any other
controlled substance before, during, or after the Prom. Such activities are strictly prohibited by state law as well as school
policy and procedure. Anyone found in violation of this
policy will be referred to the authorities and referred for school discipline on the first day of return to the school.
Parents/Guardians are strongly encouraged to monitor and
supervise all activities before and after the Prom. 2. Improper behavior will result in automatic dismissal from the
Prom.
3. All bags and personal belongings are subject to search. 4. All guests are required to present a picture ID to the staff
members at the check-in table upon their arrival to the Prom.
The administration reserves the right to deny admittance to the Prom at their discretion.
5. The TTHS student and his/her guest must enter the dance at
the same time. Individuals who are not enrolled at TTHS
will not be admitted to the Prom alone. Once a student or the student’s guest exits the Prom, there will be no re-entry.
NO EXCEPTION. When attendees exit the Prom, they must
leave the premises and not return. Loitering is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action, including trespassing
charges.
6. The dress code is formal and will be enforced. The TTHS dress code will be enforced. Students who do not follow the
dress code will not be admitted, even with a ticket. Refunds
will not be made. 7. Prom tickets are not transferable. Every ticket presented at
the check-in table on the night of the Prom must match the
school’s ticket roster in terms of ticket number and name of ticket holder. Any discrepancies will lead to the individuals
associated with this issue not being admitted to the Prom.
8. All guests must be 21 and under to attend the prom.
NON-Thornton Township High School Students / Guests MUST have the bottom section of this form completed and signed by a current
school administrator, professor/dean, employer, commanding officer, pastor or mentor along with a copy of a picture ID (School ID, Driver’s
License or State ID Card, Work ID, etc.). This form must be submitted to TTHS prom sponsor at the time of ticket purchase or no later than
April 8th. The ID will also need to be presented the night of the Prom. Any date over 21 is not permitted.
As a TTHS student, I understand that all school rules apply at school functions, and I will take the responsibility to inform my date of these rules.
