HELPING KIDS SUCCEED THROUGH MUSIC

HELPING KIDS SUCCEED THROUGH MUSIC

Ifeoma, e arly childhood music

Since 1999, kids from high-risk neighbourhoods have studied music with Regent Park School of Music. Thanks to our most generous friends this year 1,000 kids across Toronto are now thriving through music.

RPSM students are unique, and our goal is two-fold: to give them a quality music education and to help them succeed. Inspiring them, engaging them and giving them a sense of accomplishment, belonging and choice is uppermost in the minds of our 80 music faculty working across Toronto. Unlike any other music school in the city, our students can choose from a dizzying array of private, ensemble, and small and large group music lessons and are offered once-in-a-lifetime performance opportunities, to help them develop all the right skills and traits to shine in everything they do.

Something magical is happening here at RPSM - on stage the kids are learning to sing, play and perform, while backstage we are building their character, confidence and self-esteem. Year after year we watch our students grow, flourish, graduate high school and go on to college and university – all with our secret weapon: MUSIC.

We are so grateful to you for investing in these remarkable children and for making Toronto a better place. Thank you.
