Reflection
In this herbarium I have used things like rounding, estimating and polygon’s areas, these have helped me a lot. To start, in this work I had to learn the areas of basic polygons like: squares, rectangles, parallelogram, trapezoid, rhombus, triangles and circles. These areas can be used to identify irregular object’s areas in real life. Estimating helps us a lot because it is a practical form of finding an approximate measure of a large number, this can help us in real life to make a shorter measure in big numbers, like to say someone’s weight or height. And estimating helps us to calculate measures we don’t know exactly, like an irregular area.
We know leaves are important in our world for various reasons: First of all, they make photosynthesis, which keeps us humans and animals breathing while they produce their own food, that is why they’re at the bottom of the food chain, and if they weren’t there, we would have died years ago. They also work as food for both animals and humans. And they are an important part of ecosystems, working as a natural shadow and also
habitat for a lot of animals, like birds, monkeys, insects, etc.
