Visit by Education Scotland
As I made you aware in last week’s newsletter we will welcome HM Inspectors from Education Scotland on Monday. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to complete the questionnaires. Children from P4 – P7 and staff have also completed similar questionnaires.
Next week the inspectors arrive on Monday afternoon and will be with us for the whole week. They will be seen throughout the school and nursery. They will spend considerable time speaking to children and staff and will also meet with groups of parents and our partner agencies.
We are excited to show and tell them all about Hermitage Park Primary School and are looking forward to hearing their feedback.

Nursery News
This week in Nursery we have been outdoors in the garden making lots of interesting structures with the loose materials. Childsmile visited and we have started Tooth brushing in the mornings and afternoons. We brush together in groups for two minutes. We all have a coloured toothbrush with an animal on it.
Could we please remind parents to hand back any relevant paperwork and All About Me sheets? The children will be starting to make entries into their PLPs in the coming weeks.
School Association Christmas Cards
Whilst it may feel a bit early to start to think about Christmas, the preparations are starting. Once again this year, the School Association will be organised for children to

create their own Christmas Cards. The children’s artwork will be sent home week ending Friday 29th September and all orders must be returned by Friday 7th October. This is to ensure they are processed in good time.
