Framed OpeningsWe provide structural framed openings for doors and windows. Our framed openings provide support for doors and windows and secure them to the building. This eliminates the need for wood framing and prevents the doors and windows from shaking when they open and close.
WALL SHEETINGPBR Panel with Siphon Groove At Sunward our High Rib PBR Panel is standard with an exclusive Siphon Groove. The Siphon Groove allows the moisture to gather and siphon under the seam, helping to prevent the insu-lation from getting wet. This is only available with Sunward manufactured products. Outsourced panels will not include a siphon groove.
The panels come standard in 26 gauge. 24 gauge is available in white and galvalume.

Architectural PanelArchitectural Panels offer an aesthetically pleasing look by reversing the panels to conceal the hardware. They are ideal and often used in buildings when the building owner is adhering to local city zoning requirements or looking for a different look.
The panels come standard in 26 gauge. 24 gauge is available in white and galvalume.

ROOF SHEETINGHigh Rib PBR Panels are standard in metal building roofs. Our exclusive PBR Panels with Siphon Groove are a great choice for roof sheeting.
Standing seam roof panels are often used in buildings over 80′ wide providing uplift protec-tion in windy areas. At Sunward we use a variety of standing seam roof panel options based on building use and architectural specifications and requests. Pictured is a common standing seam roof panel. Separate tools or machinery are required to install standing seam roofs. Standing Seam Panels come standard in 24 gauge.

WAINSCOT OPTIONSWainscot can be added to the exterior of any building to add color or contrast. Transition trim can be added to soften the transition between the two colors and dress up the look. There is a girt placed at the height of the wainscot. Wainscot is typically run at 4’, but can be customized to any height. Custom brick or stone finishes can be added to the wainscot for curb appeal.

CLOSURESOur closed cell closures are upgraded quality. Adhesive is pre-applied to ensure proper position-ing of the closure and give a better fit. The strips interlock at the eave and base underneath the metal panels to help keep water, dust, air and pests out. The closure is an important component to our exclusive Seal Tight Building Features.

Gutter & Downspout
Base trim comes standard on all Sunward Steel buildings. Galvanized base angle helps prevent rust on the concrete. Galvanized base channel gives liner panel an interior attachment.

FASTENERSOur high quality, high strength, “Long Life” fasteners are red rust corrosion warranted and col-or matched to your building. They have a special cupped head that prevents over drilling and protects the washer from harmful UV rays. This fastener is a critical component in our Seal Tight Building System.
DOORSOur steel walk doors come standard as heavy 18 gauge , insulated and foam filled with a Poly-urethane core. Included with our doors are a lever lock and a sub-frame with full trim and clo-sure strips.
Overhead doors are available in various heights and widths to accommodate any size framed opening, and can be ordered with insulated or non-insulated options. Windows , track options, and weather stripping are available to customize your door.
