Qualification Credit Framework (QCF)

Technical Certificate Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)

Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)

The QCF will develop practical skills and knowledge within the learner’s specific field of work. Our tutors will help both learner and employer choose relevant units for a tailored qualification designed to suit unique development requirements.

Through a series of written assignments, the Technical Certificate requires learners to demonstrate job-specific technical knowledge, in conjunction with an understanding of wider business-related principles, underpinning learners’ competencies in the workplace.

Learners must complete the Employee Rights and Responsibilities workbook. This part of the course explains rights and responsibilities in the workplace under UK employment legislation.

Learners must demonstrate six different Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) throughout the programme. These skills are essential for contributing and participating confidently in life, learning and work.
