Troop"C" a st.PIERREEGLISE northtothechanneland ,u:rpUicii.ntia.do)1tactwiththeenedJylinesinthatvicinity bymeansofsmallthisdatethroughthe25thofJunethe squadron ISmissionremainedunchangedlvhilethe22ndInfantryattachedandreducedtheenemy'sstrongpointsinthevicinity ofCONNEVILLE.Duringthis periodTroop"A"repulsedanenemycounter-attackat1945onthe23rdofJunein thevicinityofkilling50Germans,andforcingtheremaindertowithdraw.Troop"F"successfullyattackedthevillageofPINABELinsupportofthe 22ndInfantryat1000on23rdofJune,killing30Germans,andassistinginthe captureofmanyroore.Twotanksw.erelostinthisactionbyenemyanti-tahk firebutbothtankcrewsescapedbyfootandlaterrejoinedtheirtroop.This troopcametotheassistanceofTroop"A"initsactionat1945thesamedayandpursuedthewithdrawingGermanstowardGONNEVILLE,killinganadditional50 Germans.Troop"Fitinconjunctionwiththelighttankcompanyofthe70thTank BattalionattackedGONNEVILLEinthevicinityoftheBOISdeBLANQUEVRLEupon twoseperateoccasionsonthe24thofJune,asadiversiontocoverinfantry attacksinanothersector.Bothoftheattacksandanother,madesinglyonthe 25thofJune,failedtopenetratetheenemy'sdefensesduetoroadblocksand tankobstacles.Fromthe23rdofJunethroughthe25thofJuneinclusivethe squadroncaptured47prisoners.
