ANNUAL VILIJA DINNER: The American Slovak Cul-tural Association (ASCA) of the Mahoning Valley annual Vilija Dinner will be Sunday, December 9, 2018, 4:00 PM in the Father Snock Center at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 2800 Shady Run Road, Youngstown, OH. In addition to the traditional Slovak Christmas Eve meal, featuring fish, piro-hy, and kolače, there will be musical entertainment and much more. Celebrate your Slovak heritage. The purpose of The Friends of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish is to have a visual reminder of our beloved deceased not only on spe-cial days such as birthdays and anniversaries but also throughout the entire year. On the first weekend of each month, a Mass is celebrated for the repose of the souls of The Friends of Our La-dy of Sorrows Parish. In September, around the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, the Mass with intention for The Friends of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish is celebrated and a small breakfast follows. Friends who are remembered are not necessarily parish-ioners of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish and membership to The Friends of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish is annual. THE SISTERS OF THE HUMILITY OF MARY: Will be hosting their annual indoor Nativity Display on Sunday December 9 from 12:00 PM-5:00 PM at Villa Maria Con-ference Center, 225 Villa Marie Road, Villa Maria, PA. It is a display of hundreds of nativity sets from around the world and will also feature entertainment from musicians and choirs. Admission and parking are free. A spaghetti dinner will be held from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM on Sunday, December 9 at a cost of $8 for a large dinner and $5 for a small dinner. Children 4 and under eat free and take out is available.

OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE CELEBRATION: All clergy, employees and families are invited to the Solemn Mass for Our Lady of Guadalupe Feast on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 at Saint Columba Cathedral at 6:00 PM. Music for

the Mass will be provided by the Saint Cecilia Mariachi Band from Painesville, Ohio. After Mass there will be a reception in Saint Columba Hall.

ST. JUDE CHURCH: A special service of Lessons and Carols will be held on Sunday, December 9, at 4:30 PM. This service will include the beautiful music of Advent and Christmas performed by soloists, choirs and instrumentalists. The children of the 3rd grade CCD will also depict the Christmas story.
