HE IS RISEN, ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA!

Dear Holy Savior Family:

Today, we celebrate the victory of Jesus Christ over sin, suffering, and death. This new Adam's obedience has overturned all the works of the old Adam, which brought about sin, sickness, suffering and death. No difficulty, no virus, no sin, and no failing can now separate us from Christ Jesus: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord"

May the Risen Christ fill you and your loved ones today, and in the Easter Days to come, with the Spirit's gifts of love, joy, and peace!

Much Love,

Father Jim

FROM THE PASTOR

PARISH LIFE EMPOWERED — “FULLY ALIVE AS MISSIONARY DISCIPLES” After the resurrection of Jesus, the disciples and newly converted Christians formed small communities and lived as Jesus taught. As Missionary Disciples in the world today, we can look to them as examples. We, too, are called the live the “communal life,” sharing with one another, breaking bread together, and meeting together in worship. On this Divine Mercy Sunday, as many people are confined to their homes, let’s consider ways we can still live a “communal life.” What are some tangible ways we can do this right now? Can you share non-perishable food items with someone in need? Can you use technology to pray with someone? Remember, you have been Empowered by the Holy Spirit, in all situations, to act as a disciple. Be creative and be intentional as you do so!

“You believe in me, Thomas, because you have seen me, says the Lord; blessed are they who have not seen me,

but still believe!.” John 20:29
