Family Promise: Thank you to everyone who

came to clean Monsignor House on Saturday

morning. “Many hands make light work.”

Also, thank you for signing up to donate your time &/or re-

sources for Nov. 22-29. With everyone doing a little bit the

work gets done and guests who have so little get to reap the

rewards. As we begin the process to close Church year 2015

and enter into 2016 we pause to review the works of our

hands. We review the areas of hope and the places needing

improvement. We REMEMBER all those who gave their

lives for our hopes and dreams and all those who loved us in

so many ways. Monsignor House will be open 3 times this

week: Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 10:30-1:30; Thursday, Nov

19 from 9:00-11:30 & Friday, Nov 20 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm.

Feel free to drop off donations on any of those days. The

Monsignor House is located at 2810 Central. The door will

be open so just walk in. For any information please call

Kathie @ 781.5033 and leave a message.

The Collection for the Campaign for Human Development

(CCHD) will be next weekend, November 22nd and 23rd.

CCHD was founded to end the cycle of poverty in the United

States by funding organizations that help individuals help them-

selves. CCHD continues to make a positive impact in communi-

ties nationwide. Your contribution will defend human dignity

and reach out to those living on the margins. Please give to the

CCHD Collection. Envelopes are available by the Office Door

for those who wish to participate.

Choir Practice: Music practices on Wednesdays at

7:00pm in the church. All musicians are invited to

share their talents in leading the music. Enter through

the shrine door, to the right.

Liturgical Tidbits: Month of Remembrance: During the

month of November, we honor our departed loved ones. Dur-

ing this month, our Book of Life is displayed near the taberna-

cle, and materials are available to add a family page or to in-

clude the name of a loved one who has died this year. The

communion song includes the names of those family mem-

bers who were buried from our church this past year. A new

facet to our reverence for the Communion of Saints is the

addition and development of the columbarium and the Memo-

rial Garden, located outside the rear doors of the sanctuary.

Here is a peaceful place for a moment of silence, reflection

and prayer for those laid to rest in the columbarium, those

remembered in the memorial pavers, benches and other ele-

ments and those held tenderly in our hearts. You are encour-

aged to spend some time in the Memorial Garden this month,

and throughout the year. If you are interested in purchasing a

niche in the columbarium, or a paver or other memorial to a

loved one, you may contact the parish office.

The monthly Mass with the intention to pray for vocations to

the priesthood and religious life will be on Wednesday, Novem-

ber 18th at St. Ann Cathedral - 6:00 p.m. All are urged to come

and pray together.
