Some look for a direct operation of the Holy Spirit in order to be saved. But the Holy Spirit works through the Word of God which He has delivered to us.
Notice that what the Bible says concerning the work of the Holy Spirit, it also says is done through the Gospel, the Word of God!

The Holy Spirit Does Not Work Directly On The Heart Of Man-kind To Save Him But Works Through the Medium of the Gospel, the Word of God.
There Is Not One Record of the Holy Spirit Working Directly To Save Anyone.

There Are Some Who Say That the Only Way Man Can Understand God’s Word Is By A Direct Action Of the Holy Spirit Upon the Heart Of Man.
But This Is Not True!

To Be Saved We Must Hear, Understand and
Obey God’s Word That Has Been Given To Us Through
the Holy Spirit.
It is Also the StandardBy Which We Will Be
Judged In Judgment Day.
“He who rejects Me, and does not receive My
words, has that which judges him; the word
that I have spoken will judge him in the
last day.”
John 12:48
HOLY SPIRIT In Conclusion:
God Created Man In His Own Image. Therefore, Man Has the Ability To Think, Reason, Talk and Understand.
In the Garden of Eden God Walked With and Spoke Directly To Adam and Eve. But After They Sinned It CreatedA Barrier So That They Could No Longer Talk To God As They Did In the Garden.
HOLY SPIRIT It Became The Holy Spirit’s Work
To Reveal God’s Word To Mankind Through Chosen Men.
“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son.” Hebrews 1:1-2
