Medical Mission Trip

Trip Purpose Adventist University of Health Sciences and Florida Hospital volunteers will

provide primary care outpatient services and health education to several

Honduran villages during five days of clinics. We will work with Hospital

Adventista Valle de Angeles Our Mission: At Florida Hospital Global Mission Initiatives, our mission is to extend the healing ministry of Jesus

Christ throughout the world. We accomplish this through MEDICAL MISSION TRIPS and by creating

opportunities for our employees and friends to provide medical care to those in need.

Through the work of Florida Hospital Global Mission Initiatives, it is our goal to build lasting

relationships with our Global Footprints where our Footprints not only survive but thrive. We identify

their long-term needs, create a strategic plan for improvement, and provide the support needed to

implement and sustain the plan.

Location & Culture Honduras is bordered to the west by Guatemala, to the

southwest by El Salvador, to the southeast by Nicaragua, to

the south by the Pacific Ocean, and to the north by the Gulf

of Honduras, a large inlet of the Caribbean Sea.

How to Register To register for a Global Missions trip, please complete the following:

Complete and email Registration Form found at the end of this document

*Submit a $200 deposit to secure a spot on the trip

Send a color copy of the photo page of your passport

Once you have registered for a specific medical mission, you will receive an information packet with trip

specific details.

*Payments Please call our office at 407-303-2632 to make payments over the phone, or you can mail us a check

made out to the “Florida Hospital Foundation” to our address:

The trip cost covers the following expenses:

Flight(s) to location Cultural tours/Entrance fees

Hotel/Accommodation Tour Leader/Translator

Ground Transportation Tips on behalf of the group

Meals and Drinking Water Short-Term Travel Insurance

Donors will receive a tax-deductible receipt at the end of the year for the donation was made for the

trip cost. If someone donates to Florida Hospital Foundation on your behalf, they will receive a tax

receipt for the amount they contributed.

Entry Requirements All passports must be valid for at least six months from the dates of intended travel. If you do not have
