Houston Interfaith ChapelsMission Statement

To provide a place of comfort, meditation, worship and aid for the traveling public.

The Interfaith Chapels have been part of the Houston Airport System since Bush Intercontinental Airport first opened. The first chapel at IAH opened to the public in Terminal B the day the new Houston airport opened on June 8, 1969. Currently there are two chapels at Bush IAH; one in the south concourse ofTerminal C and the second is in Terminal D across from the British Airways lounge. The chapel at William P. Hobby Airport near the baggage claim area opened in 2005.

Brett Jones is the Executive Chaplain for the Houston Airport System and is assisted by many ministers and volunteers to carry out the mission of the chapel-serving airport visitors and the airport community.

The Chapel strives to collect donations in order to continue its ministry. All gifts are tax-deductible as the Houston Airport Interfaith Chapels is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization
