• How do I begin to follow Christ?• From the very beginning, God's plan has been to make you like His Son,

Jesus Christ.  God's desire is for you to be conformed to the image of His Son and not to some man-made religious standard.

• During His earthly ministry, Jesus Christ poured His life into a small group of men and women.  He modeled what it meant to be molded into His image by serving, teaching and loving them.  These men and women were then mobilized to reach every people group and to minister what Christ had taught them.  The Bible calls this ministry discipleship.  We are to go and make disciples just as Christ made disciples.

• Discipleship is a process that systematically takes a person through the building blocks of God's Word by studying and applying 18 key areas of the Christian faith.  The intent is to accomplish four primary goals in the life of a believer:

• 1) to establish him/her in God's Word• 2) to establish the disciple in the fellowship of believers• 3) to establish him/her in the local church• 4) to establish the disciple in ministry

• The Christian is told in II Timothy 2:15. "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
