West Yorkshire Police is undergoing the most significant change programme in its history and we have to alter the way we work, in order to continue to meet the needs of our communities, with less money and resources. The 2010 Government Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR) required all forces to make significant savings to their budgets. West Yorkshire Police must deliver 160 million between 2010 and 2017. We must therefore focus on our service delivery, performance, new technologies and transforming how we are structured. Equally important, is delivering against the Police and Crime Commissioners Police and Crime Plan, ensuring people across the county are safer and feel safer. There are a series of projects and reviews across the Force, all aimed at achieving these goals.
