Although the activities are set, how you work your way through them is up to you, and you may prefer to find your own way around the app. It’s up to you, whatever you find you’re most comfortable with.

Scroll down through the questions that contain sets of HOW2s and consider some of the challenges that your learners have had in the past or that they are facing now.

Click through to a set that describes a barrier to progress you have experienced.

Spend a few minutes exploring the individual HOW2s within this set.

Next, if it’s available, browse through your Scheme of Work and re-plan one session to include the chosen technique in an activity.

Use the How It Helps tab, ie learning statements, to help you plan.

Use the Notes feature to record your planning along with any ideas you may have around adapting it for your context. Remember, you can ‘chat’ with a colleague(s) using the Notes feature.

You could copy the learning statements into the Notes feature.

Change the status from Considering It to Working On It for the one technique you would like to work on now.

Activity 4.

Other things you may want to do now

Create a Group via the icon on the main menu. Buddy up. Put everyone who is working together into one group.

Start organising the HOW2s into sets that mirror your needs. You can create and add to sets in the Library (see Custom Collections at the bottom) or on the individual HOW2 technique pages.

Use the Nudge feature to set up a professional learning activity with colleagues. You can Nudge colleagues from the main menu or the Skills Exchange.

Support your colleagues. Find more HOW2s that you have already embedded in your practice. Use the status bar and mark them as Embedded.
