Dear Mr. Leopold:
This is an interim response to your request, dated January
6, 2015, and received in this office on January 7, 2015, for
copies of “all records, including but not limited to, emails,
letters, transcripts, in possession of the Securities and
Exchange Commission (SEC) mentioning or referring to the FOIA
Improvement Act (S.2520), FOIA Oversight and Implementation Act
of 2014 (FOIA Act, H.R. 1211) and/or FOIA reform and or
Congressional efforts to reform the Freedom of Information Act.”
By letter dated January 7, 2015, we addressed your request for a
fee waiver.
We have identified 39 pages of records to be released in
this interim response. The enclosed records are released in
full with the exception of portions which originated with
another Federal agency. We have identified additional records
which require consultation with other Federal agencies. When
these consultations are concluded, we will provide you with a
final response.
