1. Start with an oval tilted at an angle.

2. Add a second oval behind it. 3. Add a small rounded rectangle poking out the back for the stem.

4. Add a few lines on the acorn’s cap for details, and a dot for the acorn’s point.

5. Add some color! Acorns can be anywhere from green to yellow and brown. The cap is usually darker. Fuzzy lines look great on the cap.

1. Start with an oval 2. Add an oval on the top and bottom for the fins.

3. Add some small circles and ovals on top for details.

4. Add a few lines along the stem for more texture.

5. Add some color! Fading from one color to another makes things interesting.

1. Start with a rounded rectangle, almost an oval.

2. Draw a very skinny triangle that pokes out just a little above it.

3. Add some arcs or slightly curved triangles at the side for leaves. Have them be different heights and lengths.

4. Add a few more to make things interesting! Each one can be slightly different. Have some parts overlap.

5. Add some color! The leaves and stems can go from green to tan and yellowy brown. The cattails part can be brown to yellow and fuzzy.

Flowers

1. Start with a small circle and four ovals.

2. Add the diagonal ovals and the stem. Teardrops make the leaves.

3. Color brightly! Pinks, yellows, and pastels are fun! Stems are usually green.

1. Start with a group of 5 or 6 overlapping ovals.

2. Add the a circle on top and part of an oval beneath. Then add the stem. Teardrops make the leaves.

3. Color with strong colors! Reds, yellows, and purples are fun! Stems are usually green.

1. Start with a long needle shape.

2. Add skinny teardrop shaped leaves along one side of the stem. Make them shorter as they go up toward the tip.

3. Finish the teardrops on one side.

4. Make more teardrop leaves on the other side, mirroring the first side.

1. Start with a long skinny trapezoid. It can be a bit crooked looking.

2. Add triangles at different angles and lengths along the top.

3. Add more triangles to fill out the top. Some can be overlapping or hidden

underneath to give

4. Add lines on the trunk for detail, and some oval coconuts under near the top.

5. The trunk should be tan or light brown. The leaves should be green, and the coconuts brown. Fuzzy lines on the trunk and leaves add detail.
