How to get motivated when going gets tough with OCD

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is an illness which brings with it , unimaginable suf ferings. Withcont inuous bat t ling, somet imes you are t ired, f rust rated. Here you need some mot ivat ion to keepgoing, So these are some t ips to get mot ivated when going gets tough with OCD.

1. You are not alone :

yes, you are not the f irst person to suf fer f rom OCD. since ages, many lives suf fered f rom OCD, notknowing the causes and t reatment to get rid of the disorder. 3. Never allow even a single negative thought :

5. Avoid self pity :

when you are surrounded by dif f icult ies and suf ferings, you are easily vulnerable to self pit y.

If you have these feelings, You may be suf fering f rom self pit y.

I am facing lot of t roubles than others.

Everyone is happy except me.

I have the worst luck.

Life is unfair.

it is very sad, many peopledon’t know how capable theyare, how st rong they are,how intelligent they are.

Many of us are living inimaginary boundaries,rest rict ions, falseassumpt ions created by ourown selves. Really you do notknow what you are ! youbelieve you are very weak. ifyou had to face mult ipledif f icult ies at a t ime,immediately you lose yourcourage, you feel depressed,with tears in eyes you beginblaming GOD or any otherperson.

But the t ruth is, you are muchst ronger than what you thinkyou are. The reason behindour ignorance is we nevertest our abilit y. we never t ryto f ind how far we can go. weare sat isf ied with ourcomfort zone and we don’twant to come out of it .

In OCD also, while suf feringf rom obsessions andcompulsions, you believe youare very weak, you are merepuppet in the hands of fate,you have no choice exceptperforming the rituals. Butbelieve me, you are st ronger than you think. I certainly agree overcoming OCD is not so easy, but youcan do it……have faith.

7. learn from achievers :

Here ” achievers ” mean those who conquered their OCD.

there are number of achievers’ stories available online. If you read them, you can gain the knowledge,techniques, st rategies to overcome OCD. They tell you which t ips work and which doesn’t . More overyou come to know there is so much suf fering, more than you can imagine, through their experiences,and you may feel you are luckier, compared to them.
