• Seamshortendsusingdiagonalseamstoreducebulk.Trimseamsto¼";press.
• Wrapwrongsidesoffabricaroundfusiblepiping.Periodicallypinpiping/fabricunittoironingboard.
• Guidethetipoftheironalongthecordingarea;fusepiping/fabrictogether.
5. Attachpipingtothetreeskirt.• Startattachingpipingattheinner
circleopening.Pinthepipingtotherightsideoftheoutertreeskirt,meetingcutedges.Roundthepipingattheloweredges.Trimofftheexcessfabricatthecorners.
• Attachazipperfoottoyourmachine;stitchnexttothepiping.
• Pintreeskirtliningtotheoutertreeskirt,rightsidestogether.
• Adjustneedlepositiontotheleft,onenumber/notchclosertothepipingfromthefirstlineofstitching.
• Stitchalllayersfromthebattingside,usingthepipingstitchingasaguide.
• Turnrightsideoutthroughtheinnercircle;press.
6. Finishinnercircleedgewithbiastape.• Cutapproximately2yd.(72")of2"widebiasstrips.• Seamshortends;press.• Advanceandpressstripsthrougha1"biastapemakerto

• Pinmarkcenterofinnercircle.Foldbiastapewithshortendstogethertofindcenter,pinmarkcenterpoint.
• Unfoldoneedgeofbiastape.• Pinbiastapetotreeskirt,
rightsidestogether,match-ingpinmarksandcutedges.Pinremainingbiastapearoundtheinnercircle.
• Stitchalongthefirstfoldlineofthebiastape.
• Wrapbiastapearoundtheunfinishededge;pininplace.
• Foldundertheshortendsofthebiastape;pinlongedgestogether.
• Edgestitchfromendtoend.
If you are using a nonfusible batting, pin every 6"–8" with size 1 Curved Basting Pins to hold batting in position as you complete the sewing.
