Version 2004.3.6.199 (Upgrade Notes) Firebird Database
How to Install QnE V199=====================This step does not change, can follow old install instruction.Or below:
1. Install Firebird V1.5 Server or Client database.2. Install QnEFunc.dll file.3. Install QnE Accounting Server or Client.
How to Upgrade QnE V199=======================1. Check database version. If below V193, please upgrade to V196b, updated files as below folder: Updated Files\QnE System Updater 2004.3.6.196.b.exe (MUST INTERBASE) Notes: All database files must be upgrade to V193 above and V196b below.
2. Backup database file. Backup all database files, use QnE database backup function. Notes: Don't use Express Backup option in backup type.
3. Uninstall Interbase Server or Client database. If Win 95/98/ME, please restart after uninstall Interbase database.
4. Install Firebird v1.5 Server or Client database. After install Firebird Server database, please start Firebird.
5. Install new QnEFunc.dll file (V199).
6. Upadate QnE Accounting Software to V199. Use QnE system updater to upgrade QnE Accounting Software.
7. Restore database file. Restore all database files, use QnE database restore function.
8. Finished update to Version 199.
NOTES: If Interbase, any database version can be upgrade to version 199. If Firebird, only database version 193 and above can be upgrade to version 199.
