DemonstrationsThursday8August11.30am-1pm:Ready,Steady,CookwithourcelebritychefsFollowing the official opening by Tony Shaw from Heineken, chefs Ashley Coley from the Royal and Ancient and the John Smith’s stadium resident chef Martin Russell, will be going head to head in a cook-off.

1pm-2pm:TheWoodmanInnJoin head chef Will Orme from the lovingly refurbished Woodman Inn Thunderbridge as he tackles a tantalising fish dish which you will be able to copy at home easily.

2pm-3pm:HuddersfieldVegMan Ashley Coley will be using local sourced produce to create three or four dishes that can easily be replicated at home. He will be promoting healthy eating especially the advantages this has on the eyes.

3pm-4pm:PhilLeveringtonA ‘seasoned’ demonstrator, Phil, The Demo Chef, uses ingredients from the festival producers to demonstrate easy to replicate dishes with a twist. You never know what he’s cooking next, (and neither does he!).

4pm-5pm:MinisterofChocolateChocolate tasting and a truffle making demonstration with Carl Turner.

5pm-6pm:AliMuradHead Chef Tahir Javed will be cooking some favourites from his Asian menu.

Friday9August11.30am-1pm:Ready,Steady,CookwithRealRadio’sDixieandGayleReal Radio breakfast presenters Dixie and Gayle will be going head to head in a ‘friendly’ competition assisted by Ashley Coley from the Royal & Ancient and Will Orme from The Woodman Inn.

1pm-2pm:BedazzledCupcakesLearn how to decorate cupcakes like the professionals!

2pm-3pm:KabanaAurangzeb Khan will be creating a platter of food as demonstrated on Asian TV.

3pm-4pm:PhilLeverington A ‘seasoned’ demonstrator, Phil, The Demo Chef, uses ingredients from the festival producers to demonstrate easy to replicate dishes with a twist. You never know what he’s cooking next, (and neither does he!).

4pm-5pm:Bradley’sRestaurantAndrew Bradley will be demonstrating some delicious items from the Bradley’s Restaurant menu.

5pm-6pm:ChrisBlackburnChris Blackburn from Yorkshire Pudd and featured on ITV’s Food Glorious Food, shows us how to make Chinese Style Yorkshire Pudding with Duck and Hoisin Sauce as it appeared on the show.

Saturday10August11am-1pm:SportingChallenge!Join chefs Ashley Coley from the Royal and Ancient and David Johnston from Temujin for the annual Sporting Challenge.

1pm-2pm:RoundGreenFarmCome and sample a selection of venison dishes.

2pm-3pm:PhilLeverington&SharminiThomasSharmini teaches cookery courses in York and is a native of the southern Indian province of Kerala. The area is renowned for its vegetarian food. She also teaches non vegetarian dishes and caters to the favourite dishes of her students such as chicken tikka and lamb jalfrezi. Phil and Sharmini will be cooking up some fusion treats for festival goers.

3pm-4pm:ForagingtheDemijohnway!Demijohn’s founder Angus Ferguson presents his enlightening tale of 8 yearsat the forefront of the foraging revolution using some of his delicious products such as Sloe Gin and Elderflower Vinegar to help signpost this fascinating journey.

4pm-5pm:TemujinDavid Johnson will be preparing his healthy stir-fry croc with home-made sweet & sour sauce on a bed of noodles.

Sunday11August11am-12noon:QuartzLifestyleGina Battye from Quartz Lifestyle will be showing you how to cook a well-known family favourite in a healthier way. Come along to find out how to make simple changes to your meals so they are healthier for you and all the family!

12noon-1pm:SmugDrinks Based in Holmfirth, Smug Drinks make delicious antioxidant packed juice drinks with no artificial additives or sugars. Join us for a taster!

1pm-2pm:Coddy’sFarmJoin Andrew Colwill for a demonstration on how to make delicious homemade burgers.

2pm-3pm:SpicyKitchen Come and see how to make the ever popular dish of Chicken Tikka Masala.

4pm-5pm:IslandSpiceGrillCarl will be demonstrating how to create some traditional Caribbean dishes including; Savoury Jerk Chicken, Scrumptious Goat Curry, Jamaican Rice and Peas and much more. To accompany this Carl will show you how to make his secret and very refreshing Caribbean rum punch.

Saturday10-From7pmJoin the winner of the Oxjam Battle of the Bands competition, Under the Archway, supported by the runner-up, I love Colour.

Festival at Dusk has been supported by Oxjam Huddersfield via their Battle of The Bands competition. Look out for their main event of the year – The Oxjam Takeover on Saturday 19 October.
