Here are the Hutchinson Utilities financial statements for the period 10/2012 - 10/2013.Look through and see how much the utility is charging HTI and 3M. Also, notice how much they're transferring to the city.That's what we call a hidden tax. By shifting taxes from property to utilities, we hurt those less able to pay.Now, the Mayor wants to give a reduction in rates to 3M. That's not particularly surprising, since he works there!
