IAM Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administration (QCF)

The IAM Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administration is aimed at practising and aspiring managers who wish to gain skills in a range of administration and business management areas. An assignment-based assessment structure enables each learner to complete the necessary assessments at home, fitting each assignment around employment or other commitments. This qualification is aimed at:

• School leavers aged 18 and over • Learners at work who seek to gain knowledge and understanding of administration and business

management at this level • Employers • Work-based learning providers • Further Education (FE) colleges

This qualification can be studied on its own, or as part of the IAM Level 4 Apprenticeship in Business and Administration (Package B). Qualification Accreditation Number: 600/3830/5 Credit Value: 40 Guided Learning Hours (GLH): 192 This qualification requires the learner to obtain 40 credits. This will be achieved through the completion of eight mandatory units worth 5 credits each. Units are grouped into four assessment groups, each group containing two units.

Assessment

Each assessment group is assessed by a single, 2000-2500 word assignment. A score of 40% is required to pass each assessment; results are graded.
