The workshop will be case studies-driven to achieve practical benefits in the
day-to-day documentary credit operations and risk management.
The workshop is designed for participants to:

Objectives
Vincent O’ Brien
Vincent is Chair of the ICC’s Education and Market Intelligence Group and a
Member of the ICC Banking Commission Executive Committee. He has more than
20 years international trade banking experience and has delivered trade finance
technical assistance and training in more than 50 countries. He also has a role as
Documentary Credits Specialist in trade facilitation for UNCTAD. He acts as
Technical Trade Advisor to China Systems, the largest trade finance vendor in the
world.
He has contributed expert content in the development of ICC’s Online Training
Programmes for Trade Finance Operations and in the application of ICC’s trade
facilitating rules. He is regularly involved as an expert witness in arbitration and
legal cases and is highly regarded for speaking his mind and his ability to explain
complex situations and structures in a clear and straightforward manner.
