WHY DID WE USE WEBS AS A WEBSITE HOST?

0 We decided that webs has a lot of advantages and it suits the type of product we wanted to create

- It was free- It allows us to upload unlimited amount images and videos - Very easy to use

WHY DID WE USE BURGANDY AS OUR LAYOUT COLOUR?

0We decided to use burgundy as our color scheme because:

- it is a solid color and is quite attractive - It is not very fancy hence it will not distract the

readers

WHY DID WE USE ARCHITECT’S DAUGHTER

AS OUR FONT?

0We used the font architect’s daughter because:

- We used this font for the titles of the music pieces as it is it looks like natural handwriting which the students/readers will be able to relate to

- This font is also quite graphical and good looking which will attract the readers

- We used the font in bold to stress on the importance of certain phrases and words.

WHY DID WE USE NEVIS AS THE FONT FOR OUR

HEADER?

0We used Nevis bold for our header because:

- It is assertive and bold but yet has a friendly tone especially used in all caps, which we have done

- It’s angular typeface makes It ideal for headings - It is in the sans-serif category which makes the font

very simple and easy to read.

WHY DID WE ADD A FORUM?

0We added a forum because:

- The forum allows the readers to ask any questions or any doubts on any topics

- They can have conversations which other readers/users

- The readers can also give any feedback on the site.

WHY DID WE DECIDE TO MAKE VIDEOS ON CERTAIN TOPICS?

0We decided to make videos because:

- On our survey most students said that they learn better by watching videos and images

- Hence, We made short videos explaining certain topics (structure, instruments etc.)

- This makes the students understand and learn in a fun way, which is one of our objectives.

WHY DID WE USE GOTOQUIZ TO MAKE OUR

QUIZZES FOR OUR WEBSITE?

0We used gotoquiz to make our quizzes because:

- Free - Easy to use - Gives you comment boxes at the end of each answer - Allows you to make many different types of quizzes

(test, trivia, etc.) - Allows students to retake quiz as many times - Gives a range of percentages and shows how many

questions the student got right or wrong.
