Activity 1: Linear graphs

Work in pairs. 30 min

Produce a linear graph to suit your own needs as a teacher.

Activity 2: Challenge – quadratic equations

Work in pairs. 45 min

Use any quadratic equation y = ax2 + bx + c Show in graphical format the effect of changing:

a - the coefficient of x2 c - the y intercept

Draw at least three graphs for each case.
