In jail friendship is destroyed as Megan blames peace for being in prison and peace doesn’t like the fact that mean is given more respect/status in the prison.Over the year peace creates problems for Megan.Newbie Carla arrives at prison – sentenced for life for murder but is innocent. How and why is she there?Newbie gets bullied needs to build up a respect/status.Observes and finds out about the conflict between Megan and peace. She develops a friendship with mean after showing her that peace is trying to get her in trouble.Megan and peace’s case is re-opened as a witness claims Megan’s role was not key in the stabbing.Megan is released early and promises to free Carla and prove her innocence. This is when she writes book/ re-opens case.
